“The World’s Fastest Drummer game is like Whack-A-Mole on steroids.”

-Aaron Fechter, Inventor of Whack-A-Mole

World’s Fastest Drummer® Extreme Sport Drumming is an international speed drumming competition enabled by the Drumometer (Patent #6,545,207)–a device that is used to count drum strokes. Now, the competition comes to your local arcade!

Normal and Pro modes

Players can decide whether they official compete in the Pro World’s Fastest Drummer® competition for 60 seconds, or quickly compete in the Normal mode. Time and prices for modes can be set (and disabled separately).

Quick game play

While the official World’s Fastest Drummer® competition is 60 seconds, this game can be set to as quick as 10 seconds. A streamlined user interface accelerates the pace to 11 to 16 seconds per game.

Online competition

Scores from all online machines are collected and marked for their region and date. Players then pass encouraging milestones in gameplay that informs them they’re better than the “best today in Kentucky,” and so on.

Adjustable height

Operators can adjust the height of the drums by over 3 inches, making the game friendly to small children and adults alike.

Optional redemption mode

While the game is designed for ticket redemption, the competitive nature of competitive contests of skill does not necessitate a prize. Operators can choose whether players earn tickets, and in what amounts.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • “Can this be played by small children as well?”
Yes! The drums can be adjusted about 3-4 inches lower. Based on our observations and tests, this adjusts the angle of impact from a small player so that they can easily strike the drum heads without hitting the rims.
    .
  • “How do you move this thing?”
There are 2 locked wheels in the rear, and handles built into the side of the machine. Grab the handles and tip the unit back, and you can wheel it wherever it needs to go.
    .
  • “Does the marquee come off?”
It does! 4 security screws hold the marquee in place. Once removed, the marquee can be lifted off of the unit for compact transportation. The unit itself is also sized to easily fit through standard doors.
    .
  • “Can I customize the unit with my logo?”
Yes! The main WFD branding needs to stay (we license use of the WFD brand from McAfee Enterprises), but we can incorporate your logo into the marquee or side panels if you pick up the cost of a custom run on those parts.
    .
  • “Can I get the side panels in another language?”
Indeed you can! Just let us know which of the 12 languages supported by the game you want the side art to use.
    .
  • “Can I get a unit to test?”
We offer tests direct from Unit-e for venues with 10 or more locations. For non-franchise locations, please contact your local distributor to arrange a test.
    .
  • “Why is the non-redemption version that much less?”
The redemption-enabled version is the standard unit, but operators that don’t offer redemption typically don’t make as much revenue, so we offer them a price point they can afford. This also makes it easier for mobile gaming centers and machine renters to pick up a few units.
    .
  • “What is the warranty on this unit?”
We offer a 1-year warranty on all parts for the unit; you only pay for shipping. After that, we’ll still provide you parts as inexpensively as possible–we’re in the business of making great (and reliable) games, not selling parts.
